We’ve released Version 2.0! It now supports everything from media, to #hashtags, and images. Submits every post within seconds, so it’s readily available immediately on Bluesky.
First, download the Plugin here. After that, install and activate it through Plugins > Add New; or by uploading the unzipped plugin via FTP.

After activating, go to Settings > Bluesky Auto Post. In the “Handle” Field add your handle (f.ex. gooloode.bsky.social is just “gooloode” without the @). Then, go to your Bluesky Settings > App Passwords and create a new one. Or click here.
Add your App Password in the field for the App Password.
Then, you can add something before and after each post. In our case, we added “Neu auf gooloo.de” (“New on gooloo.de”) before our post and the hashtag #beauty after each post.
Updates made in Version 2.0:
OG Tag Integration: The plugin now fetches the published post’s URL, parses the HTML to find the og:title, og:description, and og:image meta tags, and uses them to create a rich link card on Bluesky.
Image Thumbnails: If an og:image is found, the image is downloaded and uploaded to Bluesky’s servers. It is then attached to the post as a preview thumbnail. If fetching the image or OG tags fails, it gracefully falls back to using the post title and a trimmed excerpt from the content, without an image.
Correct Hashtag Handling: The logic for creating hashtags has been rewritten to use a more reliable method (preg_match_all with PREG_OFFSET_CAPTURE). This correctly calculates the exact position of each hashtag, ensuring they are always clickable, even if the same hashtag is used multiple times.
You can leave the fields empty too, then only the post name and URL will be shared alongside the featured image.
You can also test if you’re connection is correct, by clicking “Test Connection”. A debug log will be created at > wp-content > bluesky-debug.log:
